Our Diaper Program

Many young mothers are forced into using newspapers or rags to substitute for diapers.   Diapers are not only very expensive to buy but most mothers living in rural communities have to drive at least an hour to a store to buy them.  Feeding Americas Indian Children secures diapers and wipes from Kimberly Clark for newborn babies up to toddlers.

Volunteers from each tribe work endless hours helping the charity distribute diapers to young mothers and grandparents,  who are forced into raising their grandchildren.  Many times, Feeding Americas Indian Children works with the tribal leaders to secure a place for mothers to come and get diapers as they are needed.
